The Loddon School®, is both a care home and school to 28 children who have the most severe and complex learning difficulties and severe autism. Our children range from 8 years old – 19 years old. The Loddon School is a home which provides education, leisure, play and outings.
The role is to care for our children on a daily basis and ensure all their needs are met. We focus on care and education 24/7 at the school. Instead of teaching our children in classrooms learning for our children takes place via activities. There is no typical day at Loddon as every day is different so if you are looking for a new and exciting challenge this is the place for you!
We have many different facilities including; an indoor swimming pool, paddocks area with ponies, donkey’s, pigs, sheep and chickens, café area, sensory adventure playground, sensory rooms and leisure barn. Activities could range from a long walk through the country or meeting our animals at our very own farm. You could be taking part in a swimming lesson at our pool or you might be having an art or music lesson outside in our vast grounds.
